"The hotel location was optimal, and my room was lovely. Unfortunately, the pool is under construction, so it was not available to hotel guests. The housekeeper ignored my Do Not Disturb sign on the door and entered the room to clean it, even though I specifically told her not to. Then another day, she opened the door and woke me up when the sign was on it. I was very annoyed and asked her why she opened the door when it clearly said DO NOT DISTURB. She didn't say why. Why have the Do not Disturb sign if its not respected?"

"I have stayed at the Hotel Griffon many times over many years, and it continues to consistently stay the same. It's a little gem of a hotel in San Francisco and it is always a pleasure to stay there. Room rates are competitive, it's very conveniently located, the staff is superb, and I've never had less than an excellent experience at this hotel. Can't say enough good things about it!"
