「A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. 」

Comfortable bed and new, good quality bedding. Plenty of drawers and hanging space. Sofa and desk for daily activities. Tha bathroom had the best walk in shower setting we have seen so far! 「Had a lovely weekend stay here in November, the place is charming and has a lot of character. The room was large, clean , well furnished and there was everything you needed , I also loved the view and that you could look out and see the thatched roof . Check in was easy , all the staff we met over the weekend were very welcoming , friendly and helpful so it made you feel very relaxed. New management had just taken over when we stayed , I was really happy with stay here and would recommend it. 」
