4/5 - Good
We knew that Barneveld was devastated by a tornado in 1984 & we thought there’d be a museum. There was not, but was told that the library had many articles /stories about that terrible event.

convenience, clean room, friendly staff.

The front dest staff were exceptional, always a smiling face and a welcoming greeting. The room was clean and comfortable. I am confused about the billing. I was charged, but also credited for more than the charge of the room.

A wonderful old prairie style house. All that glass brings the outdoors in. Wide screen tvs with cable access. Wifi throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and well-maintained. Beautiful grounds and views over the valleys. Secluded but with easy, level access from Hwy 23.

You can enjoy a tasting or tour at Botham Vineyards during your travels to Barneveld. While in this relaxing area, you can enjoy the coffeehouses.

Visit blue mounds.
It would be nice if there were more food options in town.
Friendly small town
Didn't visit anything other than hotel and Cave of the Mounds.
We drove to Mt. Horeb and ate at the Grumpy Troll. Great area. Lot's of fun. My 6 year old grandson is still talking about the Cave of the Mounds. Great trip.
