Slow at first but a good stay.
"The front desk was not avaliable when I arrived and after 10 min I called the listed number and got transfered to the wrong hotel and just about a min later the clerk showed up. He did apologize for not being there and everything else was just fine. Nice and clean and quiet."

I was only there to shop at the Bavarian Sausage grocery store as part of a short road trip. I didn't get around to other areas.

Fitchburg is about 15-20 mins away from Madison. There are many restaurants in Fitchburg, but you probably wanna go to downtown in Madison. If you have a car, it is a great place to stay since it is far from traffic and crowds. Uber is another option
