This property was in the best location. We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant ladies were the best, same as front desk and the porters…. We stayed at Hotel Barcelona Catedral for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there. The room was a smaller than I anticipated (we had an Executive Double which did not look like the pictures) but everything else was very good.
The staff was friendly, and we used the bar for coffee, drinks, and dessert.
I loved the location. While it was not easy for taxis and ride share options to find it is in a very walkable location.

Such a beautiful place. Old, beautiful, well-maintained and staffed with outstanding young people. I especially enjoyed Maria at the front desk, Jose Manuel our porter. But really, all of them were so helpful and lovely. Charming, even. I love this place. I think I’m too old to make my way back to Barcelona again, but if I did, I’d definitely stay here. Each time we returned to the hotel and were greeted by the doorman, it felt like we were returning to a place that cares about us.
