I used the PickMe app for my ride that cost me $34 USD roundtrip (including the 400 LKR for tolls). It’s double the cost if you use the hotel shuttle. Considering the airport is an hour away from the hotel, either price you want to pay is not bad compared to transportation costs to transfer to big cities in the US. "

"One of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed in. This place oozes quality. No wonder Prince Charles and Camilla stayed here when they paid a visit. The location in great but the staff are another level. Every detail is finely crafted and every need is jumped upon by well trained staff. Honestly the staff can’t do enough for you, they made our stay very memorable need. The food it top notch and if Michelin were in town they would surely get a star. The breakfasts are to die for. The rooms are generous and comfortable and the housekeeper was a diamond. Absolutely nothing could be improved upon. If you are in Colombo and need luxury, don’t go anywhere else. "
