It's a lake view, from across Hwy 178, so don't expect you are walking distance to the lake, or anything really. Grateful these kinds of places still exist. "Friendly greeting from host upon arrival. Room was clean. View from the balcony overlooking the river was beautiful and the stars at night were incredible. Parking can be a little tight when the hotel is full, but it's minor and I'd still highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Kernville."

"The home was nice and clean. Yard was beautiful. Just a few minor things such as not having an adequate amount of toilet paper for a week long stay, no dishwasher soap, no laundry soap, no paper towels, no hand soap in the bathrooms. That created us having to go shopping immediately when we got to town. The dryer only heated but did not rotate. And a little disappointed in being woke up at seven in the morning, one day with the yard crew. Other than that it was great."
