Lovely B&B Minutes From The Acropolis
Great B&B next to the Acropolis in Plaka, our favorite neighborhood in Athens. Our room had 3 levels and our friends upstairs had the corner balcony. The manager was very helpful with our bags and anything else we needed. Breakfast was on the roof with a great view of the Acropolis. Eggs and French toast were cooked to order and delicious. We were actually sorry we were only staying for one night before our cruise and will definitely return on our next visit to Athens.

Its a lovely old converted mansion. Great ambiance with the rooms named after poets and with framed poems on the walls! The view from the roof terrace is awesome and breakfast was great. The location was close to all the ancient attractions I wanted to see.

The evening/night reception was extremely helpful, arranging food delivery from a local restaurant and providing some breakfast foods for an extremely early departure. The day reception provided a good restaurant recommendation within easy walking distance. Nice and close (walking distance) to the Acropolis and Parthanon. We enjoyed our stay at Home and Poetry.

Very charming boutique hotel housed in historic building with rooftop breakfast cafe (with acropolis view!) in great location. Home & Poetry was a great choice for us while visiting Athens. The hotel was extremely clean with plenty of toiletries. Our suite had an upstairs room that was a perfect layout for our adult daughter. The rooftop cafè offered a buffet breakfast as well as a made to order menu each morning that we enjoyed while taking in the acropolis view. This is also a great place to enjoy the view in the evening. The location is perfect for walking to all of the shops, restaurants and meeting place for starting acropolis tour. The staff does a nice job of taking care of guests. Plumbing quirky in old building, but other than that no issues. We enjoyed staying in this lovely hotel with delicious breakfast and acropolis view allowing us to conveniently walk around Plaka!

Great Location in Plaka
Good Plaka location not buried in the center of Plaka. Very clean and the staff was most accomodating. The two gentlemen in the rooftop breakfast area were outstanding. Wonderful breakfast.
