「Our stay at The Marquis of Lorne was great. Very comfy room and the food was great. Just a two night stop over and inrtended to eat out but after the first night we were hooked on the4 menu. Thanks for grwat stay.」

「What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

「A lovely hotel nestled under the Dorset Ridgeway path and only a 40 minute walk from the coastal path. Pretty setting, with lovely garden and good restaurant. We had breakfast next door at the farmshop which is a linked business and offers a 20% discount to the hotel residents.」

The rooms are old -style but confortable with an excellent price-quality ratio.
