Eve's Cottage has lots of charm as well as a central location in the stunning city of Arundel with direct views of the Cathedral and towards the coast!
The accommodation over three floors with a wonderfully spacious and light living area with an oak floor running throughout. The lounge area has two sofas with a woodburning stove at its centre with a large dining table with seating for six. There is a well equipped kitchen which has been fitted to a high specification with granite worktops and solid oak units and has a double oven, induction hob, dishwasher, a separate fridge and freezer as well as a useful washing machine.
On the first floor is the bright and spacious principal bedroom with super king sized bed which has its own ensuite shower room with underfloor heating. Also on this floor you will find the family bathroom with a large corner shower cubicle, a basin and WC.
The top floor of the cottage has the second double bedroom with views over the roof tops to the sea beyond. The third bedroom has a single bed (with a sofa bed available at a small supplement).
Outside at the front of the cottage, the courtyard area offers a private and south facing space; a great spot for a morning coffee. To the rear of Eve's Cottage there is a shared lawn area which is available for guests to use.
Unallocated on street parking is available to the front of the cottage and nearby.
Arundel and beyond
Eve's Cottage is situated within walking distance of all that Arundel has to offer with a multitude of craft and antique shops as well as restaurants and tearooms. It's a great place to wander and just enjoy its hospitality with lots of restaurants, bars and antique shops to browse.
Just a short stroll away from the cottage is the impressive Arundel Castle which is the seat of the Dukes of Norfolk and is set in 40 acres of sweeping grounds and gardens. Beyond the castle grounds Arundel Park extends north towards the Downs offering many fine walks. A two mile walk to the top affords fantastic downland views and south to the coast.
Further afield Arundel is well placed for the coast. Climping Beach and Littlehampton's West Beach are only a short drive away from Eve's Cottage. This is a beautiful unspoilt length of beach of Special Scientific Interest. At the eastern end beside the mouth of the River Arun is the West Beach Cafe built by local craftsmen using materials sourced locally. It is worth a visit, the fish and chips come highly recommended!
Goodwood and Fontwell racecourses are nearby along with the cathedral city of Chichester with its excellent Festival Theatre noted for not only the quality of productions but also the fact many world premieres are featured as well.
If you fancy a day in the city, Arundel mainline station is on a direct route to London, so why not mix the cosmopolitan capital with this beautiful part of Sussex?
