「Beautiful views, lots of privacy and one of the best stocked properties that we have ever rented are what you get with Kilima. And an actual, proper, propane, full-sized BBQ grill which is virtually impossible to find in Europe. Ductless heat pumps in every room so you can always set the perfect temperature. We would have liked to spend even more time in the heated pool but unfortunately the September temperatures were a little lower than we had expected. We had a great stay at Kilima.」

「House is situated in a small town on the Canal du Midi just southeast of Carcassonne. Within a n hour drive there are botanical gardens, beaches, lake, an Abbey and vineyards. 「The gite was clean and bright and really welcoming. It was quite difficult to find but we managed it in the end as Monique (the owner) collected us from a nearby supermarket! It was spacious and good quality furnishings. We found the sofa rather uncomfortable, but fortunately, the bed was comfortable. We were welcomed daily by the very friendly dog, Caramel and 6 chickens plus a noisy rooster. Our main difficulty was that Monique didn’t speak English and we don’t speak French! However, it was...
