"The Horizon Room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. While many of the inn's rooms have convenient direct access from the free parking lot, the Horizon Room felt more like a traditional hotel room. It was located in a bright, well-lit foyer, which gave the area a more upscale, welcoming atmosphere. The staff truly went above and beyond, and I really appreciated their kindness and customer service."

"Our room was very clean, I always pull of the sheets back at every hotel and check thoroughly. It’s the cleanest hotel I’ve seen in a long time. The views were gorgeous, we were here during off season so we missed the river amenities but it was gorgeous. We stayed in the garden suite with a full bed, plenty of room and was very nice, heater and fan was included in the room. My only complaint was that there was no plug in, in the bathroom and there were no other mirrors in the room, so it made it a bit hard to straighten my hair. But this is a very minor issue to an absolutely GORGEOUS stay. Staff was very friendly and offered several things to do in the area as well as took an interest in our plans."

"We greatly enjoyed our three day stay. We chose Point Arena for peace and quiet, and we got lots of it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our Keurig machine was a dud, and they went out directly to purchase and install a new one. They also prepare a dinner and breakfast (limited menu) on request and there is an excellent continental breakfast always available. The view of the harbor from our room was spectacular and we spent a lot of our time just watching the waves roll in and the pelicans diving. I was startled to find Point Arena's main street disappointingly run down. Forty years ago it was a vibrant little place and people driving PCH would stop on their way for a meal and to shop, now they seem to drive straight through. Even the turn off to the harbor and hotel is a challenge to find. Do stop out of town at the lighthouse. It's a gem."

"Rustic bungalow near entrance to the river. Beds were cozy and comfortable, we slept well, bathroom was clean. Nice patio in front of room, which is on the 2nd floor. Beautiful property! And local shops are within walking distance. Negative: no screens on the windows, which we could open but had to close in the evening due to mosquitoes, one desk fan provided, the room was uncomfortably warm when we arrived. One desk lamp for light in the bungalow, one light in the bathroom. I recommend this resort and give it a B+ because except for these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and will return. Next time we’re bringing an extra fan and desk lamp 😁"
