CAST AWAY your stress and worries at this adorable piece of old Florida near BEAN POINT. Charming vintage cottage with LUSH TROPICAL HEATED POOL & SPA area.

Two bedrooms with queen beds, well equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs mounted in each room, full sized washer & dryer, and large front porch with mini fridge all combine as your home base in paradise. Enjoy relaxing moments poolside, beachfront, or exploring the whimsical boutiques in the SUNNY QUAINT VILLAGES on Anna Maria Island.

Everything you need to enjoy your days on the island is at the cottage - just add food & drink + swimsuit & flip flops. We provide a STREET LEGAL GOLF CART (4 seats), beach chairs, beach umbrellas, Wheeleez beach wagon, bicycles, four stand up paddle boards, two-seat kayak, private outdoor shower/changing room with hot & cold water, two gas grills, coolers, and more! After a day at the beach or sightseeing, the private pool/spa awaits - chilled or heated - any time of the year. A 55 inch Smart TV is set up for you to watch your favorite team (or whatever!) while chilling in the pool! Ledge Lounger ice bucket/table in pool splash pad for your drinks.

Don't bring beach towels, paper towels, or toilet paper! We have all the basics (and more) supplied in the kitchen and bathroom. Pack n Play, high chair, booster seat & stroller are in the hall closet for the small ones. Pet dishes in place for your OTHER small ones!

Spices, chocolates, wine, water at each bedside, coffee, and tea complete the arrival necessities. Coffee grinder is also provided.

Located a short leisurely stroll down a charming sandy pathway from Bean Point Beach with sparkling crystal clear water and gorgeous white sand, the cottage locale also provides access to delicious island eateries or come home and grill your own freshly caught fish and DINE AROUND THE POOL. Don’t miss the blackened grouper or scallops at the nearby Waterfront, a classic Philly cheesesteak at Slim's, or a cheeseburger in paradise at Duffy's Tavern!

Sunshine, seashells, sand, surf, and saltwater ☀ - all of the sublime ingredients needed to change your clock to ISLAND TIME!

HONOR THE 10AM CHECK OUT TIME The housekeeping staff arrives at 10am to prepare the house for the next guests. ON DEMAND SERVICES Make sure you have logged out of all apps on the TVs (if applicable).
GARBAGE & LEFTOVER FOOD: You may leave unused food/drinks in the kitchen. PLEASE DISCARD ALL RESTAURANT LEFTOVERS. LINENS: It is not necessary to strip the sheets from the beds or wash towels.
RETURN ITEMS TO THEIR PLACE: Return all furniture and décor that was moved during your stay to its original locations, including outdoor furniture. This is a private home. Thank you for your respect.

Quiet time in our residential neighborhood is from 10pm until 8am. Strict fines are imposed by the city and violators will be removed from property.
To drive the golf cart, guests must be age 25 or older and provide a copy of their driver's license and proof of auto insurance, as well as waiver.
91 days before your arrival all funds refundable < 90 days no refund; If the RA language conflicts with the language found on Vrbo, RA controls.

Perfect location

Family of 4 stayed here comfortably for 3 nights in April. Had an excellent time on the island. And we were really impressed with the property and its location. Cool little trail, steps from the door take you straight to Bean Point.

Sister trip

Had an amazing stay with my 2 sisters. The property was easily accessible by foot to Bean Point. The golf cart was an awesome amenity ...we were able to maneuver around the island to all of the cute shops and yummy eateries without a hitch. Our hosts were more than accommodating and very friendly.would definitely stay again and again...

We were there for 4 nights, greeted as we arrived by the owner who introduced us to everything about the property including operation of the golf cart and hot tub with the pool. Everything we needed was provided and the cottage was charming. We had our 12 year old granddaughter with us and. She loved it, too,

Wonderful Getaway

Castaway Cottage exceeded our expectations! The location is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and dining is an easy 3 minute golf cart ride. The owners outfitted the home to perfection. We loved our stay and look forward to another visit soon.

Outdoor Oasis

This property is ideal…clean, close to the beach and comes with everything that you need for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor area with heated pool, hot tub, kayak, paddle boards, outdoor shower and tv was amazing! We spent most of our time outdoors with everything that we needed. I can’t say enough good things…we hope to go back soon!

Family Friendly location

The property had everything we needed for our family with young kids (3,5,7). Quick walk to the beach, short drive to shops and restaurants, and a great pool area! We loved AMI and can't wait to go back.

Amazing beach vacation

We had the best time at the cottage. The cottage is in the best location on the island and the beaches are beautiful on the north end. Dan and Goose was amazing host the whole time we was there. We will for sure be back.

My wife and I came to Anna Maria to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary. Castaway Cottage was perfect for us. The cottage was well stocked with every necessity for our 4 night stay. The pool and outdoor shower were amazing and the close proximity to the beach made it a breeze to walk out for views of the sunsets. We would definitely come back for another stay.

AMI Spring Break 2024

This cottage was perfect for my family of 3 for my daughter's Spring Break. This was one of the best appointed houses we have stayed at on the island. Came with bikes, golf cart, paddle boards! The backyard was a paradise and the hosts- Dan and Goose were very helpful. Would stay here again!

Castaway Cottage

We loved our time at castaway cottage! Definitely the best equipped house we’ve ever stayed at in AMI. We’ve been turned off in recent years after having to buy every conceivable thing we’d need for our vacation because the houses came with nothing; this was the opposite experience! The kids loved the paddle boards, zooming around in the golf cart and all the fun beach toys that were provided. The pool area is phenomenal as well. All in all a great stay!

A little slice in paradise

This property was beautifully appointed and the location was great. The description stated it was well stocked and well furnished and this is absolutely true. Just steps from Bean Point and a v short walk to The Rod and Reel Pier , location can’t be beat. The golf cart was so handy for getting around the island and the backyard pool was an oasis. Goose and Dan are more than property managers, extremely invested to assure our stay was great. Highly recommend.
