"Excellent location, with tram just outside door, and major train station short walk away.
Busy vibrant area, very new.
Bike rental worked well. Spacious rooms, clean. Staff helpful, especially Tatiana."
"Accessible location with two tram lines nearby. A few minor missing amenities (washcloth, bright lighting in bathroom) but overall a nice room and comfortable bed."
"The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have free guest laundry service at the ground floor (-1) which fits our needs. Free coffee and tea and upon request for more. Bathroom is clean and high basin for tall people like us is perfect."
"Great place to stay. Central to so much. Be aware these apartments are run by a hotel and the hotel staff is not amazing. You can barely get in touch with anyone prior to you arrival."
"Quite the unusual place to stay…very unique.
Comfortable bed…plan on climbing some stairs for bathroom and kitchen, but all in all quite comfortable.
Restaurants within walking distance. Enjoy!"

Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.

I will only stay at this hotel in Amsterdam. The location is ideal - quieter street but walkable to everything. The amenities are everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The staff is out of this world - energetic, professional and helpful.

All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. Room was quiet for outside noise, but some mechanical noises but not awful. Room service was good and Janz was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Area around hotel was great boutique shopping. Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies, flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.

The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.

Exceptionally nice property. Great staff, nice rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pricey, but it did deliver on quality and variety. And of course a fantastic location and the place is quiet, which we liked.

I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. Walking distance to the Jordaan district which is my favorite area. The hotel provides first rate breakfasts that spare no expense. ...

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous and the staff was all very very helpful and friendly. The absolute only thing I didn't love was the room being in a different building from the main hotel.
The lounge was breathtaking and all the bartenders were excellent and very sociable.

taking a cab from Centraal station, the cab driver could not find the hotel, when it was really in front of his nose. Once I got there, the experience was great. I was concerned about the distance from the center of the city, but there's a tram that stops right in front of the hotel that takes you right to the center of things. It's also a pleasant if lengthy walk. The neighborhood has a number of interesting restaurants and bars and there's a great supermarket a block away. The room has a...

Top notch in all areas of a stay in Amsterdam. Had a corner room with glass on both walls. Just a great feel and elegance to stay. Would have given 6 stars if an option. Can walk to Musueum district. Loads of bike paths. Breakfast buffet quality is a whole new level. Like being between airport and city center.

Very pleased with our comfort room stay for 4 nights. Was quiet (despite the coinciding Amsterdam Dance Exhibition drawing half a million to the City, bed mattress very comfortable (pillows too thick), great shower and hot water availability (hate the little aluminum tubes with soap shampoo, etc - hard to fully extract, lids fall on the floor), great location for access to city center. Thank you for a very good visit!

Really the perfect hotel for the museum tour, in easy walking distance to all of them. The canal is lovely and quiet, tons of busy restaurants in a 4-5 block radius, lively night-life, friendly, busy, fun. Lobby recently renovated and very enjoyable with a view of the canal -- the breakfast service is superlative. What's not to love? If you stay, book a panoramic room, you won't be disappointed.
