We wished we had stayed Tuesday and Wednesday instead of the Monday so that we could have eaten in the restaurant both nights - the food was delicious. 「only 4.5 miles away from the visitor center. Lovely, spacious, clean room and very comfortable beds. The host stocked up the refrigerator and provided other breakfast items generously. There were several options for dinner within a couple minutes of walks. No ac. Did not find wifi either. Everything else was perfect. We left our luggage in the hotel to visit Stonehenge. 「The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. Malcolm meet us as hosts were out, what a fantastic man, so friendly and funny and even offered to taxi us to our party as no taxis available. 「This property was absolutely perfect for us. We only stayed 1 night, unfortunately! The kitchen was very well equipped & we made use of it by making a meal when we arrived after 7pm. We sat outside to eat as it was a lovely evening. 「We have just returned from stopping here and I'll have to say we've had a wonderul stay. The room is very well kept very clean it is absolutely beautiful. The host's are so friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. We had a delicious breakfast included in the price. The location is ideal for exploring salisbury and the beautiful cathedral and only a short drive away is Stonehenge. We would definitely recommend a room in the garden as a pefect place to stay. 」
