Clean rooms and great breakfast

Great checkin experience. Very efficient and and friendly staff. The rooms are very clean but getting a little tired. The price was really good with an excellent buffet breakfast which was well worth the extra $10 per person. Free parking.

The property is in a great location. The lobby is clean & welcoming. We had a twin bed room it was small dirty & as soon as we walked in the strange curtain thing fell down 8feet. The roller blind did not work & when we ask it to be fixed they took forever so we did everything with lights on which were dull at the best of times. We did not use the pool due 1. It being empty, then on closer inspection it was horrible. Breakfast was the best thing about this hotel. You have to walk to interconnected Nove for breakfast, but we’ll worth eating good variety of food. Parking was also good.

Rude front-desk attendant

The lady at the reception is so rude and spoke like she is doing guests a favor (by doing her job) We checked in and expected to get the room type that we’ve booked and paid for, but she said its not available. Our booking is for a guaranteed non smoking room with 1 bed.. she asked us to call the site where we made the reservation to verify our booking, I’m not sure what she wanted the site to do when my reservation clearly states “Superior room with 1 bed, non-smoking” - after asking to speak with someone in the property, she gave us the room type that we’ve booked. I called the site where we booked the room and they confirmed that my room type is guaranteed. Such an unnecessary inconvenience!

Thank you for a great place to stay in Fujairah. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable for my 2 night stay. One of the best things is the hotel is walkable to many restaurants and shops. I was able to explore easily.

typical Ibis Hotel rooms, not big, but comfortable bed, the noise insulation overall was good, but not at the balcony door, which is locked, but the traffic noise could be clearly heard in the room, huge heated swimming pool and huge gym. the sports bar is great too.

Warm hospitality made the summer bearable.

It was such a convenient place to stay. Staff are very friendly- they are all great reflection of what good hospitality is all about. I am particularly grateful with the Buffet Breakfast Team-all of them are exceptional. Special mention to Helen, Kenneth, Brandon, Chef Vijay & the rest of the team - thank you so much for making our mornings brighter for the whole week @ Fujairah.

Very long time at the Check-In

Very very long time for the Check-in, i was standing about 45 minutes because they closed the Ibis reception and we used Novotel hotel check-it.

A decent hotel for the basic requirements

This was my first experience with an Ibis/Novotel stay. Overall I was satisfied. The first room we were checked into smelled bad (like cats) and, upon calling the front desk, a hotel rep came to our room to escort us to a new room which was much better. Ibis offers the bare essentials, so don't expect much, but it's actually decent for a comfortable, clean bed and a hot shower and an overall quiet stay. I will likely stay again in the future.
