「We chose this lodge hotel because all the other hotels nearer to Edinburgh was too expensive. But the location wasn’t convenient for those who don’t have a car. The first night, because it was Sunday, the closest train station’s train ended very early, and we had to use the farther station, Livingston South, instead of Livingston North. 「The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future.」

「The room was far from the lobby, and there were many stairs, so it was difficult to carry my luggage. It was nice to have a drink served when my friend visit me in the lobby.」
