"Hotel was in a great location as the bus stop almost right outside the door has plenty of different routes got to it, so always very quick and easy to reach Kanazawa station. Most places within a half an hour walk too. Hotel itself was very clean and tidy, room was a decent size and staff very polite. Check in is at 3 and when we arrived early, they processed our infirmary and stored our luggage but checking if the room was available to go to earlier didn't seem to be an option (although that seems to be a general way of doing things in many hotels in Japan). Can't really fault anything with this hotel and would definitely stay here again if we were ever able to come back to Kanazawa."

"The Mitsui Garden is a brilliant stay in Kanazawa. For many reasons….. service, breakfast buffet etc. only fault was dinner at the restaurant was below expectation!?…. We are back tomorrow and looking forward to it. "

"The staff was very welcoming, and the property was clean. The amenities are great - drinks in the lobby, popsicles and yogurt drinks at the onsen, ramen noodles and toiletries as needed. We found the onsen to nice but very busy at times, so we tried to go when we thought less people would be there. Breakfast was wonderful! Our daughter’s loved the matcha and hot chocolate. In Japan you most likely need to book kids over the age of 13 as an adult. Double check with the property details on this."

"10 minute walk from Kanazawa station. Close to the Samurai and Geikko districts, as well as next to the fish market. Great options for food, and helpful staff in making reservations."
