"I’m extremely fussy and very particular, however I thought this hotel was absolutely lovely! The majority of staff were great, the food was wonderful and it was clean, comfortable, homely and had a really nice ambience. I’ve knocked a star off for little things like tiny plates for breakfast (what’s that all about?), crumbs were still all over our floor after the room had been cleaned, the floor to the shower was lethally slippy, the breakfast wasn’t kept hot (luke warm at best), and the coffee was revolting (You’re missing out on a trick there …… imagine if you invested in a PROPER coffee machine and cakes - you’d make a killing)! Not overly impressed at being charged £25 per person (as a guest) to use the pool/spa. However, none of the above detracted from a lovely stay. We’d definitely stay here again. "

"The staff was lovely pay abit more for the jaccuzzi bath its so good... dont put bubble bath in it haha Theres a fridge downstairs to put things in and yiu eat meals downstairs too The room we was in was like a cosy bedroom it just felt like a home away from home. Beds are really comfortable. Only thing i could say is to put a few canvases on the walls but apart from that its lovely and the breakfast is amazing. It tastes like good quality ingredients. "

"A beautifully renovated shepherd’s hut. Very comfortable and brilliantly insulated, so was really cosy during a chilly March weekend. The location is beautiful and within easy reach of the coastal path. Also well located for some beautiful mountain walks (and more). We had a very warm welcome from Owen. Thoroughly recommend this property!"

"Stayed for half term with wife, two Teens and a dog. Welcomed as we arrived and left milk and Welsh Cakes to enjoy. Such a lovely place and well equipped converted barn. Lovely having the wood burner which warmed us up well, all the amenities you need in a home away from home. Maybe a more comfortable mattress that’s less springy, but otherwise a perfect stay, and we WILL be returning!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The room was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It was clean, well-prepared, and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The owners truly went above and beyond for us. When we struggled to find the property, he kindly came out to meet us, which we really appreciated. He took the time to show us how to work the heating and pointed us in the direction of the local shop, which was very helpful after a long journey. The Welsh cakes left for us were such a thoughtful and delicious touch! The beds were extremely comfortable, and we slept really well. Overall, a fantastic stay with exceptional hospitality — we wouldn’t hesitate to return."

"Charming cottage a stone’s throw from the beach.Excellent hosts and very easy check in and out process.Sea grass restaurant around the corner was definitely worth visiting as was the local distillery.Will definitely book again!"
