We had a lovely stay in Betws-y-coed and the hotel made the stay really relaxing. They are friendly and helpful and the hotel is really central. We are looking forward to booking to go again soon.
Staff were lovely, food was great, fantastic location. Room very spacious and comfortable. It was overall a really lovely stay and we will definitely be going back A*
A delightful hotel, at once both old-fashioned and modern. A very pleasant Reception and an excellent restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Slept well in a very comfortable room - (although I would have liked one 'soft' pillow). And all in all the hotel was central to a very pleasant weekend.
Lovely historic hotel. Very warm & comfortable after long walks in snowdonia mountains. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Betws y Coed

Excellent staff and food, rooms a little tired
First class friendly service, excellent food in the attached bar, plus breakfast in the hotel dining room. Great location and parking. Room, and particularly the bathroom, in need of updating.

Beautiful property in a great location. Spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely come again.
Everything was lovely and clean and staff we're very polite.
The bedside light didn't work in room 109 so had to get out of bed to put the light on and off
The bar unfortunately closed at 10pm and being sat outside we didn't hear last orders just before we were going to get our last drink for the night so had to walk uo the road to another pub thay was still open.
Would definitely stay there again
The manager helped us with everything and was welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was really nice, not a single thing about our stay i can say in a negative light. Really great, thank you
Lovely corner room and very comfortable bed. Good quality furniture in the bedroom with loads of storage space. Food was lovely especially scrambled egg for breakfast. Perfectly placed for going to Snowdonia.
Amazing weekend . The Royal Oak Hotel is first class in every way. Very tasteful interior decor, very comfortable room, excellent service, beautiful Christmas decorations and excellent breakfast and sunday lunch.
Beautiful hotel in an equally beautiful village. Staff were very attentive. Room was lovely. Food was excellent. Everything was easy and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend the hotel and area.
Perfect location with friendly and accommodating staff. The Grill Room restaurant offered a wide range of quality food options. Our room was large and comfortable with good amenities, however the bathroom is starting to feel dated and the shower weak, but plenty of hot water.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is very good. The building is old and has a nice atmosphere. The room was comfortable and we had a lovely view of the river opposite.
