"Fantastic hotel in every respect. I have just returned from a three-night stay. My son was staying in a cottage just down the road and this was a perfect location for all of us. The hotel is lovely and the friendly service was second to none. Every single member of staff (reception, bar staff, restaurant staff, and the cleaners) was so helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious- both the breakfasts and evening meals. Would definitely stay again. "

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"Jan and her staff were so friendly and beyond helpful. The Victoria House is within the castle walls, so it's a quick walk everywhere. Breakfast is not served on site, however, Jan will make reservations at a nearby restaurant at a discounted price. She also kept topping up our tea, hot chocolate, Welsh Cakes, etc. There was a small fridge and microwave in our room, which was very convenient. The bed was so comfortable and the room was a very good size. We highly recommend booking in here!...

"Lovely accommodation in the Honeysuckle suite, very quiet and spotlessly clean. All needs catered for and bottles of water and milk for tea and coffee replenished daily. Very friendly professional hosts and the breakfast was delicious. Great location for motorway and central to many interesting parts of North Wales but set off the main road by a long driveway. "Because it was a holiday weekend, and it rained, and there were accidents, we were 2 hours late, and one hour after check in. We called, and Ian said "No problem".
