The rooms were clean and well appointed. The lobby and dining room were beautifully fitted out and a very well stocked bar. Dan was an amazing host , she was extremely welcoming and made us feel very at home. Parking was great, and just a short walk to all the restaurants, shops and pier. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely return.

Wonderful value for a top private hotel. It already has a great rating and that is thoroughly deserved. Our room, and indeed the whole hotel, was spotlessly clean. Highly efficient staff with owners who care about the experience and who put their residents first. Comfortable lounge and dining area with a delightful choice for breakfast. This hotel is nicely situated, just a few minutes from the promenade and the town center. The area is both quiet and pleasant. We noticed no traffic or passing pedestrian noise during our stay and our room was located at the front of the hotel. We would have no hesitation in booking with the Lansdowne again or in suggesting it to friends and family

Breakfast was great. Lots of choice, from continental to full English as well as lots of options in between, whether you want just egg on toast or boiled eggs, including vegetarian or vegan option. Room was really great, all amenities that you would need. The shops and restaurants are just 10mins walk away, so location is great, and one of the few places that offers off road parking.

Excellent breakfast, well presented with good choice, lovely owners, nothing too much trouble. Everything was top class in every aspect. Decor, dining room, bedroom. Coffee/tea etc was always replenished without asking. They had really thought everything out to please guests. This hotel was in easy walking distant to all facilities. Could not fault it. The Lansdowne was spotless, extremely comfortable Excellent breakfast, and great selection too. Of amenities in the bedroom. A very well stocked Bar, it is Very close to the town centre. A short walk to the beach, and Pier fantastic to see the Big wheel back and it all lite up with multiple colours at night. Very close to restaurants with and without entertainment. Plenty of shops and cafe to choose from. 10 stars definitely Dan Wei and all the lovely friendly staff were fantastic thank you for a wonderful stay xx
