Unfortunately, the two single beds were not properly joined to form a double as we had requested and so kept splitting apart in the night. The soundproofing was poor with rooms either side audible, scraping of furniture in the mornings etc. Breakfast was good in selection but hot food was cold every morning. "

"Very loud Disco on Saturday evening in July inside hotel on Floor 1, just next to our Family room. So nobody could sleep that evening until when DJ stopped after midnight! We complained but no other triple room available to switch to. Complaint at check-out yielded in free parking (EUR 10) and free water bottle (EUR 2.20) - plus the 2 ladies at reception told me that I should normally pay extra for the 45 minutes of late check-out, but they will not charge!!! So, thanks for the EUR 12.20...

"Had a lovely stay at Silken Hotel. Beautiful hotel, and spotlessly clean throughout. Pool area was very nice and chilled. Had a ongoing issue with the air conditioning in our room which the lovely front desk staff were really helpful and patient with. We eventually asked to change rooms and were moved without any fuss whatsoever. Breakfast was good, plenty of selection. 5 minute walk to the beach, the pool area was so nice we never wanted to go to the beach. Loads of nice restaurants and bars...
