"Our room was filthy the first day. So we had to go to dinner while our room was cleaned. That cost us $100. They charged us $25 a day for bikes and a trolly ride that we never used because we didn’t even know that was a thing until we checked out. They also charged my 7 year old daughter $15 for some cereal. The only good thing about the place is the location on the beach. The hotel itself is gross. "

"The beach was nice, the pool area is small for the property size ,staff was very nice, they did miss housekeeping twice during our stay,overall though very nice hotel"

"From the moment we arrived we were treated well . Employees know how to take care of customer needs. My wife and I had a beautiful room with a great view. The room was continually cleaned and refreshed. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant delightful . We will definitely be back. Thank you Opal Sands management and staff! "

"Very disappointing stay. The hotel was not clean including the lobby, room and balcony. Also, staff are not friendly, parking is valet-only at $40/day which you’d need to pay if you have a car despite being perfectly capable of parking your own car, and they charged a $35/day resort fee despite offering no real amenities. On top of that, we paid a $460 deposit at check-in. Overall definitely not worth it."
