"Everything was great, up until we needed a taxi to the train station. The desk lady just kind of pointed the right outside and said you can catch a taxi over there. But the night before, the other lady at the desk said it would be no problem to call you a taxi. So there you go. Then the taxi guy I got us to the train station gouged us around $40.00"

"Great location. Perfect view. Lovely staff. The smoking at the restaurants is unbearable. The waiter will smoke as he serves you so for only that reason I did not stay longer. I don’t know if the food was good, all I could taste was cigarette smoke. "

The staff were super helpful organising transfers. A great place to stay for the airport as it’s about 12 minutes away. But a great hotel in its own right. "

"Great property, family friendly, Lots to do with kids. The rooms are a bit dated and not well maintained but the grounds are beautiful. Food was okay nothing to rave about the breakfast wasnt worth it. The bars, pools, slides, shops and all all were great. "

"I just returned from three weeks in Sicily, having spent the first five days at Borgo di Ciaula. The location is great for exploring Santa Flavia and Sant'Elia. "Two main reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice waiting staff in the huge restaurant. Spacious but basic apartment - poorly equipped for self catering - we did not require this and I got the sense that they would have supplied utensils ‘if’ requested. One notable staff member was awful in every way, so we avoided him! Good value, interesting European mix of clients. No pool off season as too cold for Italian tastes! Plenty of sea nearby though. Good car parking. YOU WILL NEED...
