「I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. 「I've stayed in two different suite junior rooms. The first one was amazing once the suites has the air conditioning just in the living room and it was installed installed in the direction of the sleeping room. The second one the air was positioned in a way that didnt supply the sleeping camera pretty well so i felt a little bit hot and the mosquitos also love it, it was november, so in the high summer might be really unconfortable. Anyways, it was also a good appartment. If u can, ask for this...

「We had a wonderful 9 days at Barcelo Playa Blanca. It was a wonderful hotel with amazing facilities, incredibly clean and rooms were fantastic. This was pretty much the first time we’ve done a half board basis and the value was amazing, saving us a fortune for a family of 6 where we normally spend upwards of £150 a day on food and eating out. So overall a fantastic trip, a superb hotel with great staff, service and amazing facilities. 」

However there are many aspects with let the hotel down: - Very poor food, particularly in the evenings. - Restaurant is a chaotic free for all at times. - Not well staffed: always significant queues at the bar. - Endless noise being blasted across the whole resort from all variety of entertainment activities leaving no down time to relax.
