It was the first time we stayed here i thought the hotel was a little run down time for a refit no kettle in the room and the first time i ever paid a deposit on a plastic pool glass thought that was a bit of a joke the area outside the hotel really good centre plenty of good bars and food probley wouldnt stay at the hotel again would recomend for young familys not couples

A fair budget hotel

The hotel is tired and in need of an update. However, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you want a cheap stay somewhere and don’t mind no-frills, this can be a good option.

Room was in very bad condition stains on the ceiling and walls, furniture and doors falling to pieces and unsafe also no sockets we had booked a superior room and it looked nothing like the pictures. The food however was great and the staff were very nice the outside pool area and animation team were also fantastic. The location was perfect right on the beach and next to the square with a beautiful walk into Puerto del Carmen over all an ok hotel if they had the rooms upgraded it would be fab.

The 1st sea room was not the best with a palm tree & car park. Had to ask reception to move rooms as we had paid for the upgrade. Room was tired, lack of amenities, 1 bottle of water. The pool was decent and heated. Many bars to drink at. The food was nothing to write home about, as All Inclusive, we went out and ate. The Italian restaurant food was below par, tasteless sauces. Lunch had pigeons trying to eat it as it wasnt covered so that put us off. Would not recommend, definitely 3 star and not 4 and would not stay there again.

Lovely hotel, gorgeous view over pool. Food was great, good value. Beautiful location next to the sea, lovely strolls down the front. Close to lots of shops and supermarkets

Ideal family hotel

Great location right on the first line of beach away from the PDC hustle and bustle but still only €6 in a taxi to get there. Hotel is vey clean and I definitely recommend the superior rooms as the standard are much older and in need of renovation. We went all inclusive and there was a great selection of food and drinks available. Id give it a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Nice hotel to stay, but...

Nice hotel, convenient for family with children. What it really needs is to repair mini golf court and much more improve cleanness of dishware, it was sometimes disgusting (plates, cava glasses) and improvement of some staff attitude (to be more friendly and not so nasty).

We had a lovely 4 night stay here. Rooms were very clean and general hotel felt well looked after. Great pools and 1 heated. Food was nice with great choice. Went all inclusive and felt we got value for money. Great location on the beach front and a nice flat walk to local shops and bars/restaurants.

We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and the sea.Our room was serviced every day and had a balcony which got sun alll afternoon and gave us shelter from the wind which was unusually strong this year.

By the beach/sea with lovely restaurant staff!

It’s a practical room , pretty big, with nice sofa and little fridge. The hotel is by the sea and beach, which is best thing for me. The other great thing is all the waitresses and waiters and specially the chefs ( Tony and Luis and a lady waitress I forgot her name) are so friendly and so lovely and helpful! I am here working and competing so being in a quiet, practical and relaxing place is just what I needed.

The hotel is in a good location for the beach and nearby bars and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotels policy in relation to the amount charged for the use of the in room safety deposit box is disappointing, they know you need one to keep passport and valuables safe and yet charge you €4 a day which reflects poorly on the hotel when it is for the safety of guests belongings and you have little choice but to pay it. Also disappointed with the policy not to allow the AI drinks for the area which shows sport (football) as the entertainment bar was of no interest but watching the occasional football match on TV in the evening was.

Winter break

Booked superior room , lovely shower, big room. Food v good. Plenty sun beds, 15 min in taxi to airport. Nice spa. No WiFi in room& poor WiFi at pool. No kettle in room, hire it at front desk. Safe is 4euro per day. Hotel needs updating however it is clean & good location. Aircraft noise didn’t bother me but you are pretty much on the end of the runway.

Pros: the hotel is in a good spot to go anywhere by car in a short time. Facilites, staff, etc. nothing to complain, everything was on point. I would go to this hotel again. Cons: the airport is nearby, you may hear planes landing every now and then. The Spa closes too early in the afternoon, in my opinion.

Winter break

The hotel is in a great location next to the promenade, great for walking, running and cycling etc. Not so good though if you want to be in the thick of the action. We had a standard that iwas spacious and clean if perhaps a little dated (no complaints from us though for the price we paid). The food is typical All Inclusve but we liked having a choice for lunch. Our only real gripe was the quality of the wi-fi which regularly "dropped out" and needs to be better (this was my second visit and the same occurred on my previous visit). We would return at the right price.

We found this shows up the worst of all inclusive where hotels also operate a pay as you go. Only 2 bars open in the evening a terrible show bar with very poor choice of drinks, uncomfortable seats and special all inc glasses. The other sports bar is like being in a different era. comfy chairs, nice screens, decent glasses and excellent drinks choice. However its pay only. Get the impression once you have paid the all inc price, they give you rotten standards. Better to go breakfast only as miles better just outside and beter value

Our second trip to the Beatriz Playa and once again we had a lovely time. Still managed to get lost in the complex though! Food was varied and tasty, enjoyed a meal at the Oriental restaurant one night. Easy access to the beach promenade which is a lovely flat walk. Just one suggestion (same one as last year). There was very little low level seating round the bar area, just three chairs for disabled and actually room at the back for at least another two tables. The tall bar seating is a struggle for the elderly/those with mobility issues.
