"Daiichi was a top notch hotel, staff was amazing and the rooms were very spacious for Tokyo. Similar in size to a standard hotel room in the USA. Pros- 1. Restaurants were basically across the street (shabu shabu place was phenomenal). Great coffee shop next door. 2. Rooms very spacious and had a tub and shower. 3. Block and a half from shimbashi station which had direct trains to most places you want to go. 4. Centrally located to asakusa shibuya, Shinjuku. and one stop from the express...

"We had an excellent three-night stay pre-cruise. It’s a beautiful property and our corner room was outstanding. Very spacious, comfortable, and silent with an enormous double-sink bath, separate tub and shower, and a window. Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping with metro station access right outside the hotel entrance. "

A couple of negative points: check-in process was long, the hotel is very luxurious but old facilities and needs to be refreshed (expand the fitness room, add streaming services in room TVs, general decor…), sometimes long breakfast line in the morning (maybe expand the breakfast hours?). "
