"This was both my first time in Japan and my first time in this kind of stay. I had heard about the pod hotels of Japan and was interested in trying one. I stayed at this location for six nights and I really enjoyed it! The staff was all friendly and the place was pretty clean and relaxed. I had no issues whatsoever. Will recommend "

"Very cute Onsen room that was really nice, the capsules are spacious and comfortable- the people in my room were noisy all night and so didn’t get much sleep and it was pretty hot too! It’s like staying in a cheap hostel. Probably fine for one night but I wouldn’t stay longer."

"Check in was very easy even as a customer unable to speak Japanese. I showed my Expedia booking and passport and given keycards and a rules guideline. Locker room/bathrooms/showers accessed via the elevator to base floor (men). It is well maintained and organized. On my last day someone had carelessly damaged one of the shower head handles, but it was still working fine. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided in each private shower. "Most everything in the hotel was a bit cramped, but that's a capsule hotel for you, I suppose. The staff was lovely, the bedding was quite comfortable and there was a TV in the capsule that I could plug my Switch into. The lounge area was a nice place to sit and watch TV while I microwaved the bentos that I bought at the nearby Kita-Senju station, which were surprisingly filling and tasty. All in all, well worth the $20-something (USD) a night that I paid."

"1 Night ¥1980 Hotel is everything you could ask for and more out of a hotel with the lower nightly rate you pay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (coming from someone who doesn’t speak nearly any Japanese). The dorm areas had cleaning staff going through everyday ensuring garbages were emptied, bathrooms, floors, etc.., were clean. Only a 5 minutes walk to Iriya station so very easy to get around Tokyo.
