"Everything on Fufu Hakone was excellent except the spa and massage. I booked the recommended spa & massage package of 120 minutes costing 20,000 Yen, but was only given the service of 75 minutes including changing time, bathing and sand spa which lasted 25 minutes, the massage was only 50 minutes. I felt I was being short changed after the session and raised question to the massage lady without any acceptable answer. "

"I couldn’t get over how amazing this place was. We went for our honeymoon and wish we stayed two nights instead of one. We got a room with the open air bath and a great view of Forrest Valley. It was beautiful, a much needed soak in the tub after walking for days. The staff is great and so friendly. We had dinner at their Teppanyaki restaurant which was the best dinner we’ve had in Japan. The next morning, we had a quiet stroll to Chisuji Falls and stumbled upon a beautiful garden on the way....

"Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. When we arrived, the hotel staff provided us with a welcome drink (sparkling wine) while we waited to check in. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel's "Onsen" was excellent and very enjoyable. The private Onsen bath on our balcony was also lovely. We found the shuttle service directly from Odawara station to be very helpful and convenient. The free shuttle to and from Gora station was also very convenient...

"Lovely hotel, rooms and views. Very accommodating, for a price. Comparatively expensive for the other places we stayed in Japan, but they were excellent. Designed to be a resort, it is unnecessary to leave the property but they made everything in the area very easy to access. Common area and restaurants were very pleasant spaces to relax. "

"Worth every cent paid for the 2 nights stay. Room and sevice was above expectation and keiseki meals were comparable to high end restaurants and a lot of privacy with the option to have it in the room. Strongly recommended!!"
