「1週間こちらに滞在しました。中心街から少し離れているので、車がある人が滞在する場所になるかと思います。それでも車があれば近いです。窓からは湖が見えて、とても静かな空間です。ランニングも楽しめました。部屋は毎日クリーニングしてくれて清潔感があり、心地良さが抜群でした。部屋数が少なく、まるでホームステイしているような安心した感覚になるからだと思います。オーナーのご夫婦が素敵で、質問すれば色々と教えてくれましたし、ガイドブックも自由に貸してくれました。滞在者がリラックスできる空間とプライバシーを尊重してくれています。大切にしたい朝食の時間は、暖炉のある部屋でゆっくり過ごすことができました。（毎日、数種類のメニューの中から自由に選ぶことができて、すごく美味しく飽きなかったです。ハーブティも出してもらえますし、ヴィーガンメニューもありました。）素敵な場所に出会えました。おすすめです。」

「The room was the modest hotel room I’ve ever had. The bed was amazing, the bathroom was huge with separate shower and bathtub! The closet at the entrance was HUGE! Big enough for all our luggage and outerwear and then some! 」

The General Manager is almost omnipresent and leads from the front; he appears unfailingly eager to help guests and to enquire as to whether there’s any little thing that could make a guest’s stay more pleasant. 「What a great little place! It's perfect if you need a home-base and want to tour around the area. It's simple but lovely and well maintained. So clean! Alan, one of the owners is very knowledgeable and not just about the area! He has geology knowledge upon food recommendations upon hiking/walking/climbing trails. We got a lovely reception as soon as we arrived. It isn't fancy but the atmosphere and service are 5 star. 」

「Room is quite simple, not WOW, but they renovated recently so it's quite clean. View from this hotel is amazingly beautiful, located in the middle of nature. All staff is very helpful, we have small problem when check in/out though. Their bar has huge range of whisky.」

「We had the most delightful stay at the Whispering Pines Hotel. Spotless hotel with delightful and polite staff. The night was very stormy but we felt warm and cosy and despite the numerous times the electricity cut out the generators kicked in and we were back on with power with no fuss. My only criticism is the meal prices were way too high and the choices were too limited」
