グレンコーの城

「レンタカーで向かったのですが、ナビ通りに行こうとしたら道がありません。何と最後はフェリーで移動します。片道５分程度で７ポンド弱。渡った目の前にあります。その辺りにはホテルだけで、あとは民家が点々と。 犬と赤子連れで行ったのですが、とても親切にしてもらいました。パブの食事も美味しかったです。 娘が大きくなったらまた訪ねてみたいです。」

「一見古そうで期待外れかと思っていましたが夕食時、朝食時のスタッフがとてもフレンドリーでにこやかで好感が持てました。2つの大きな団体と一緒でしたがスタッフが上手にコントロールして快適に過ごせました。」

「大きなお屋敷ホテルで雰囲気がある。ゆったりとした時間が流れている。廊下やラウンジの装飾品も素晴らしい。客室は広々としていて、浴室にはバスタブもありくつろげる。部屋によって眺めの良さに差があると思われる。私の部屋はイマイチだったのでその点がマイナス。あと、館内全体がちょっと暗い(古い建物だから仕方がないが)。」

「Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt hinter der Rezeption. Es war sehr laut. Alle gingen an unserem Zimmer vorbei. Am Fenster war der Parkplatz. Auch hier gingen alle vorbei. Die Fenster kann man nur 15cm öffnen. Keine Klimaanlage. Die Lage ist aber sehr gut. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ort gehen. Supermarkt ist gleich gegenüber...」

「This is a very tired property. The carpets are tired. The rooms are tired. The facilities are tired. The food is tired - if that is possible. And all the staff seem tired. I wasn’t expecting the world but this is the sort of tired place best skipped if other options exist. And when it comes to food, you MUST find other options.」

「価格が高かったので評価が厳しくなる。 良い点 広く快適な部屋。机と椅子がある。バスルームは最新の良い設備が入っている。ジム、プール、サウナが無料で利用できる。 悪い点 駅から1.8km離れており車がないと不便。Wi-Fiは全く使い物にならない（部屋でもレセプション付近でもダメだった）。ベッドのマットレスは凸凹している。布団のカバーが破れていた（ツインの部屋だったので破れていないほうで就寝した）。」

「The property as a whole far exceeded our expectations. I SO wish we would have planned to stay longer! It's even more beautiful than in the photos. Highly recommend staying here as an adventure base, but also be sure to build in some time to just sit and relax in your gorgeous room or the living room, with the beautiful views and a book + tea or coffee.」
