Top Brighton and Hove Hotel Reviews
The Grand Brighton
10/10 Excellent
"While we were going in and out of the hotel, a doorman and concierge were not so attentive and didn’t show much willingness to help us carry the stroller up and down the stairs, which was a bit disappointing. Also, we were told over the phone that we can check in at 3pm, but when we went to the hotel 10 minutes before 3pm, a receptionist told us that we need to wait until 3:30pm. It was a bit stressful for us as we have a 4 months old baby and waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes is not as easy as it sounds. Another thing is that the baby cot provided was very deep without any height adjustment. It’s probably for a child who can already stand up. We asked if they have alternative, but unfortunately they don’t have it. It would be probably best to bring your own if your child is still quite small. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay in general mainly thanks to Daniel who helped us with the issue with our bathtub. He brightened up our mood and set a good tone for our stay. We really appreciate his kindness and hospitality and making our stay wonderful."
Malmaison Brighton
8/10 Good
"The Location of the Hotel was central to all the amenities at the marina. The Rooms were very clean with a good amount of extras. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. we arrived early , so the room was not ready. They were happy to keep our baggage whilst we went out and returned at check in time . Parking was also a plus !!! AC was available in rooms, but it was great to have a door and windows which opened so we were able to breath fresh sea air I did not have any meals whilst staying at the hotel, however, about 200 yards away The West Way pub was a cost effective alternative for all meals."
Hotel du Vin Brighton
8/10 Good
"Stunning and well designed Loft Suite which we upgraded to on arrival to the (but it doesn’t have a telescope on the balcony). Staff were absolutely lovely but the waiter didn’t seem able to manage the small number of tables at dinner Which was a shame. Lovely but not quite up to basic expectations, e.g., 3 times forgot my aperitif so I cancelled it. My trout was dry (either from overcooking or under heat lamps). All the toiletries are L’Occitane, plentiful and a joy to indulge in. Would I return? Yes. Room, beautiful. Reception, brilliant! Breakfast choices and vegan sausage, fabulous. Location, perfect."
DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole
10/10 Excellent
"Our room felt like it had been renovated recently and looked really nice. The bedroom was very large and offered a sea view which was great. The bedding was very comfy. The staff was helpful when we needed and the amenities (swimming pool/sauna/steamroom) were great and easy to book to avoid crowding. We very much enjoyed our stay and to top it up the location was great meters from the beach, in between Brighton city centre and Hove, close to the i360. Great place ! We recommend"
Numa Brighton Pavilion
10/10 Excellent
"Different kind of concept for us as this was a hotel stay without a manned reception desk and all check in was done remotely through the Numa app. Excellent all round. Access PIN and room number was sent through on the morning of arrival. Room was lovely, spacious and modern. Had almost an IKEA vibe. I found the bed and bedding really comfy but hubby not so much. No noise from outside. Loved the idea that the cleaner wouldn't be in every day had we been staying longer than a couple of days. Towels, toilet paper, extra tea/coffee etc could be obtained from the essentials cupboard in the reception area. Couldn't fault anything except there were no usb charging points in the room. It was a good job we took a plotherwise it would have been an issue."
Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront
10/10 Excellent
"We are return visitors to the hotel as we're always impressed by the amenities, standards and friendliness of the staff. Super handy for the beach, restaurants and museums. The pool and spa facilities and the breakfast are excellent."
Leonardo Hotel Brighton
10/10 Excellent
"Online check-in and check-out facilities were easy to use. I found the staff in the hotel friendly and accommodating. For rail users the hotel is very convenient."
Holiday Inn Brighton Seafront by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and ready to help with any inquiries to make the stay easy. Check in was very quick. Free car parking a great bonus! Easy walk to a lot of attractions. Would definitely recommend others to stay there."
