「A very grand and well positioned building, handy for attractions and stations and great view. Communal areas well maintained. Rooms very poor. Acknowledging this is Blackpool, it’s nearly winter and weather this weekend was grim, water pouring in through windows and a huge draft from poorly maintained windows and being told to stuff a town in window frame to absorb the water and wind is perhaps an unusual unique selling point… but ironically did work. Bed rock hard and uncomfortable and rather...

「The staff were fantastic and despite being warned about building work we needn’t have worried. The food was good both for dinner and breakfast. The spa was especially nice. We were warned it would get busy by the very helpful member of staff but even when busy it was ok. We had a really lovely little break with great views of the lake. All in all worth every penny. Thank you for a wonderful time.」

「The room was terrible, walls were damp and room smelt because of the damp, wallpaper peeling off, bathroom disgusting, no soap in dispenser, bath had cracks and toilet didn’t flush properly」

「Lovely room, very comfortable bed and a great breakfast」
