Very disappointed with this hotel on arrival check in was ok friendly receptionist, when we got to our room it wasn't cleaned from the person befor the bed was a mess whith a wet towel on it and a dirty one in the bathroom . Reception was happy to help and moved us to one the had been cleaned. I would recommend that management check the rooms befor people go into them and make sure they are clean as the one we moved to wasnt

This hotel needs updating ,the bathroom needs a major refurb .The towels were very small and paper thin ,no bath mat ,that is not safe when getting out of the bath . Not enough staff ,nobody came to our room in the 3 days that we were there. The front entrance is a disgrace full of tab ends ,bin overflowing with rubbish and glass bottles .This hotel chain needs to start upgrading there hotels .

Check in - We arrived about 3.05 to check in, two members of staff were stood having a full conversation while I was stood waiting to be welcomed or to at least a welcoming hello. Rude!!! The women who finally checked us in, went on the explain about car parking charge another voice was shouting over her trying to explain about a pet charge, I didn’t know who I was listen to…or about what?!! We walked through the corridor's which we to have been decorated since we was last at the Grand Hotel. Room was plenty big enough for a family of 4 and 1dog. On closer inspection the bathroom sink had a huge crack in it, the shower curtain had stains, I found a bug on the bathroom floor along with more cracks, and only 2towels for a family of 4 “family room” The decor had dark marks over the wall or big dents in the walls. Tv didn’t work however this was reported and service and maintenance fix the matter. The children’s beds- uncomfortable. Lifts only 2 out of 4 worked- having a dog crate we found this an issue. For over £200 all in (dog charge included) for 1 night I would have expect a little better and one of the most expense in Blackpool!! Needs ALOT of work down to customer services, Property maintenance. Very poor.

Not great but not bad either. Bed comfy and staff attentive. Hotel rooms felt dated but overall clean. For £100 plus would expect kettle & coffee/tea. Would stay again though.

The iron needs attention as it marked my shirt. Could hear every conversation in the room next door and kids were running up and down the corridor. Tea and coffee faculties were hidden in a fake chest of drawers so didn't know they were there. Other than that the room was nice and the staff were professional and polite

The hotel looked nice as we came up to it but we jad to stand in a queue for an hour and 20 minutes being disabled myself and my husband we were in a lot of pain by the time we checked in then anotjer 10 minutes to get the lift to our floor . The accessible room was awful the beds were like from an orphanage in the 1920s brick hard and very low down . We only stayed two nights but on the Sunday my hisband went to the bar only to be told it doesnt open till 5 i dont even want to start on breakfast but it was definitely not worth getting oit of bed for

Paying for car park and swimming wasnt great....very noisy doors, should have a bar on the top for slow closing, they slammed to....duvet was far too small for its cover and bed sheet didnt fit the bed

It looks fancy when you walk you walk in but once you get to the rooms you feel completely deceived. I stayed here with my son who has additional needs and it was completely unacceptable. The lights didn’t work and despite reception saying someone would come to fix it nobody showed up, my son needs constant supervision and is terrified of the dark, the bathroom was pitch black without the lights, we ended up having to use our phone torch until I located the fuse box myself and fixed it. The toilet wouldn’t flush again nobody cared when I told them, you can hear absolutely everything from the hallway and rooms around you and to top it all off on our last night we found bed bugs in the bed resulting in my son having a meltdown and refusing to sleep, we’re home now shattered, itchy and traumatised. I’ve contacted the hotel for a refund and they’ve completely ignored me. Oh and their vending machine ate my sons change and all they did was stick an out of order sticker on it the next day after we waited over an hour for someone to come help us before giving up. Absolutely devastated.

Disgusting it’s currently 25degrees today and all the windows have been screwed shut, very dirty room with hairs in the bath, rubbish bits all over the floor, went to reception to be told that we would have to down grade if we want a open window with no sort of refund, I booked to family rooms that sleep six and requested them to be near, to only find there on different floors, so had to take a down grade so we can stay together, again no refund of the difference , the manger that was on reception was useless and would do anything not even offer to get the room cleaned. So we had no choice but to stay as couldn’t get a travel lodge as they were all booked up, only to find the toilet doesn’t flush either, the fridge doesn’t get cold, some lights don’t even work, over all disgusting in all areas including the service, never again will I stay here again, what as waste of £340 for 1 night

A good 40 minute walk to town hairs on bed on arrival hotel landings and rooms quite worn staff behind counter were having a chat whilst i waited about a phone overall disappointed for what it cost given i also paid over the odds anyway
