"The property required us to contact them in advance if arriving after 6 pm. We called several times and got no answer, left messages for the to call back (in Japanese) and received no return calls. Due to their remote location we had to book another hotel in Nikko to ensure we had a place to stay. The hotel refused to refund our money. Terrible customer service. We would recommend avoiding this property at all costs!"

"新しいオーナーさん方は一生懸命取り組まれていると感じました。 築年数から老朽化している部分は仕方がないと思いますが、泊まった部屋が浴室の上のせいか、夜遅くに入浴者がいなくなるまでそうおんに堪えねばなりません。 宿泊者の品行に寄りますが、自分が宿泊した日は残念ながら、ドアの開け閉め、廊下や階段の歩き方、廊下で話す声のトーンなど、散々な目にあいました。チェックイン時にマナー的なことを周知して下さると良いと思いました。 "

"Close to many attractions if you have a car. If you don’t, there’s a station nearby. The staff was very kind and even offered us a shuttle ride to wherever we were off too. The onsen was refreshing. There are also many things to do while here. The rooms are a little outdated but you are staying for the price. Overall, it’s great for a one night stay!"
