「I’ll start with the 1 positive: the motel is close to downtown and the surrounding area is very walkable and newly redeveloped. We walked to a couple meals and really enjoyed them. HOWEVER… this was one of the filthiest, most dilapidated properties we’ve ever allowed ourselves to stay in. 「I suppose the property was pretty typical for a Quality Inn. The room was not well-maintained and we found several bugs. But, we were safe.」

「I do not suggest this hotel. We chose it for the price since the others in the area wanted $300+ (high for a quick stay to break up a drive) and per usual, you get what you pay for. It was dirty, run-down, odd characters hung around the lobby, we turned on the water in the sink and the pipe below burst out water all over the carpet. Look for newer hotels if staying in the Roanoke, VA area. 」

「Room was clean, but the temperature in 314 would not get the room as cold as we like it. Check-in process should move faster and a greeting goes a long way. We travel between NY and FL and we have literally stayed at this location 26 times in the last 2 years. The hotel is newer and clean. It depends who you get for the check in and out process.
