"Only spent one night after a cruise while waiting for further travel to Kyoto. Only stayed for a rest so cannot comment about the neighbourhood."

"I had some issue with the water not working in their annex hotel , but staff contacted their other hotel, a short walk away where the water was on and I could shower. The rooms themselves, especially the bathrooms seem not quite dirty, but a little shoddy. If you're in a tight bind and need somewhere cheapish to stay, then it's fine. The staff are very polite and helpful"
