「Had to change rooms and both were filthy, my daughter was in the hospital and I had no choice! Tub and toilet disgusting! Dust, stains smh!!」

「It is a lovely hotel. The room was new and well-appointed with some of the old bank building charm. It's upscale while being quaint and comfortable. We were on the 4th floor. The room had amazing upper windows. Very cool! The staff was lovely. Very accommodating and friendly. The location is ideal, right in the middle of town. We were very happy to stumble upon the Promissory Hotel!」

「The staff was very helpful and courteous. But the room smelled, there were flying bugs in the room. The cover on top of the beds were stained and were very dingy, as if not cleaned. The bathtub looked very unclean and the shower curtains were dirty. With all that said, thank God we were only staying one night, I already had cleaning sprays and lysol. We were definitely not taking a shower and we slept on top of the bed with our blankets spread so we did not touch the covers. WORST PLACE I...

「Our main reason for choosing this property was it had an indoor pool. When we checked in, we were told the pool was not working and they didn’t know when it would be back in working order. This should be posted on their website. Another issue is that when I asked for a receipt at check out the young man did not seemed pleased. He was not very receptive at all to questions or acted as if he wanted to be there. My husband did appreciate the breakfast.」

「We stayed in room 302, it had mold along the bathroom above tub/shower on ceiling, around tub edge and faucets was rusty , We could not use the bathroom as needed」

「Air was not on when we entered the room so it smelled musty in there in the beginning. It was fine after we turned on the air conditioning. Wooden Panel along the bathroom sink was all coming out. Beds were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly. Breakfast had good variety blueberry muffins bagels English muffin white/wheat bread eggs sausage juices coffee teas yogurt and batter to make fresh individual waffles. Would stay again」
