"Excellent and extremely helpful staff. We stayed five days and have thoroughly enjoyed the time. Nightly music which we enjoyed from an open window and short walks everywhere for dining and shopping. Elevator to our third floor room is too small but no other downside for us."

"Staff were great, and breakfast was pretty good too! Great location, but I'd only advise if you are fit and able. Lots of stairs and steep roads around. Room was great, bed good and clean. The shared bathroom was ok too. Some noise but nothing some ear plugs couldn't solve. Weather was mid 20s and did not have issues with it at night. Just keep the shutter closed during the day! "

"We had a lovely stay with an amazing view of the downtown. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because there was a reall weird smell in our room like an auto shop that gave us headaches other than that. It’s a cute little hostel "

"The staff are wonderful. Cherry and helpful. The place is older and worn. Beds squeak a lot but are comfortable. As with most hostels, there is very little room in the bathrooms!! No place to put down your toiletry bag (except in the sink) PLEASE add some shelves. Some stools (on which to place clothes so they don’t get wet on the floor) would improve the functionality immeasurably! But again, the staff is wonderful. Breakfast was adequate too 👍"

The hotel kept cancelling my bookings because my card was blocking international transactions and I had to pay before checking in, which I found a bit weird considering I saw people paying for their stay after check out but I give them the benefit of the doubt. "It was a pleasant boutique hotel right in the heart of everything. I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty the decors were and also given free snacks, drinks, teas and coffees in the room for the entire stay, I stayed somewhere else and moved here during my stay due to ease of access. I also extended my stay as I loved the hotel. Great hotel If you are a tourist looking to walk everywhere and be at the heart of everything."

"This property is a gem. Just a minute walk from the metro in a quiet and safe business district. Many food choices and cafes. I especially like the space of the room. It is a fuss-free establishment, with good toiletries fitting. I would definitely recommend this establishment to practical, neat and fuss-free travellers! "

"Terrible place - Not possible to find. Searched for more than 20 minutes together with our uber driver, asked neighbors, rang up random doorbells. Couldn't find the place. No sign or anything about the place on the building. Address that was sent to me by Expedia didnt even contain the flat number. No instructions how to find the place were sent. No phone number was given. Found the place on facebook though. Tried to call the phone number - several times, nobody answered. Had to book a different...

"The main problem we had was bed bugs, both of us got destroyed by the things! Also the box in one of our pods did not have a lock on it so did not feel safe leaving valuables in it. Great area and cheap price otherwise."

"O quarto é muito pequeno e a espuma do colchão de casal é muito mole, o que é péssimo para quem tem problemas na coluna lombar. Acordei com muitas dores e tive que pedir um colchão emprestado para a segunda noite em que fiquei hospedada no hotel. Já a localização é muito boa, já que é bem perto da Praça Marquez de Pombal."
