Great budget hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights while here to run the Lisbon Half Marathon. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel room was clean. Budget hotel but a good place to stay. Would recommend

Good value budget hotel. Excellent location and great breakfast option included in the price. Only drawback was the room only had a small window looking out into a small rectangular 'courtyard' therefore the room was a bit dark. Nevertheless the advantages of location, price, friendly staff and breakfast made Hotel Dublin a good choice.

Immaculately clean and close to everything. But too expensive when one considers limited elevator service and the very small room and even smaller bathroom. But the ckeanliness was exceptional

Good hotel, And excellent location, easy to commute, although the building and amenities are old it looked clean and everything was working fine. Breakfast was very basic plain bread, cheese, ham and cereal not much to choose from but my understanding is that almost everywhere is like that unless it is a big hotel chain

Overall good.

Good location, close to shopping areas and the centre, and the starting point for your buses is near. Breakfast isn’t very good, consists only of pastries and instant coffee. The hotel kept cancelling my bookings because my card was blocking international transactions and I had to pay before checking in, which I found a bit weird considering I saw people paying for their stay after check out but I give them the benefit of the doubt. The property isn’t easily accessible for disabled people and no one offered to help with my bags which I would have appreciated.

Well placed, good value for Money

We had a transit flight, so we had to find a convenient hotel, quickly accessible from the airport and close to the city center. The hotel Dublin was the right choice, calm, clean and only a few minutes from the metro station Marques de Pombal. It was perfect.

O elevador é uma farsa

Não existe elevador: para você chegar até ele, é preciso subir várias escadas, sem contar que o elevador só para em andares alternados, ou seja, se você tiver o azar de ir como eu, grávida, sozinha, com 2 malas, e ficar no 1o andar (que corresponde ao 2o andar), terá que subir e descer com as suas malas e ainda contar com a indelicadeza do recepcionista em dizer que foi minha culpa e que não há serviço de maleiro, quando em verdade o hotel não está preparado para receber pessoas com deficiência ou com bagagens. Tive a sorte de pegar um quarto que embora fosse minúsculo, estava recém reformado e tudo novinho, mas pude ver que não são todos os quartos que foram reformados. A acústica do quarto é praticamente zero, ouve -se até o que se fala no andar abaixo. Fora isso, é um quarto bem pequeno , mas confortável. Mas não pretendo voltar, mesmo com uma localização boa e com lençóis de qualidade.

Hotel is definitely old European style. There are no key cards. You have a real key which you leave at desk when you go out and they keep them in little cubbyholes at the desk. The location is great for walking to historic center. The price was very affordable too.

Older hotel with old world charm

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it. But after reading the reviews I knew that before we went but then stayed there we had a great time. I like the old European feel of this place. The guy at the desk was very friendly and helpful and there were 8 of us ladies mostly 65 to 72 years old and he did a lot of luggage moving for us. There is an elevator but a couple of steps to get to the floor you need after you exit the elevator made it a little harder but nothing we couldn't handle and he helped. Was just fine! there is a couple of good restaurants a couple doors down and the square is only a couple blocks away.

great hotel, simple but that's enough for few days - good choice for the breakfast (pitty it's open only at 7.30am) - very good central location - staff very friendly - i will be back to this hotel next year

Centraal op loopafstand van de zee

Hotel ligt centraal op 20 minuten loopafstand van de zee. Prijs/kwaliteit ietwat te duur. Kamers niet groot en geen balkon. Personeel ok.

Sleepless Night.

The shower had not been cleaned. We spent the night being eaten by mosquitos or killing mosquitos. And until about 1:00 it was very noisy. We booked for two nights and left after one. The location was great.
