"Excellent and extremely helpful staff. We stayed five days and have thoroughly enjoyed the time. Nightly music which we enjoyed from an open window and short walks everywhere for dining and shopping. Elevator to our third floor room is too small but no other downside for us."

"Staff were great, and breakfast was pretty good too! Great location, but I'd only advise if you are fit and able. Lots of stairs and steep roads around. Room was great, bed good and clean. The shared bathroom was ok too. Some noise but nothing some ear plugs couldn't solve. Weather was mid 20s and did not have issues with it at night. Just keep the shutter closed during the day! "

"We had a lovely stay with an amazing view of the downtown. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star is because there was a reall weird smell in our room like an auto shop that gave us headaches other than that. It’s a cute little hostel "

"The staff are wonderful. Cherry and helpful. The place is older and worn. Beds squeak a lot but are comfortable. As with most hostels, there is very little room in the bathrooms!! No place to put down your toiletry bag (except in the sink) PLEASE add some shelves. Some stools (on which to place clothes so they don’t get wet on the floor) would improve the functionality immeasurably! But again, the staff is wonderful. Breakfast was adequate too 👍"

"Good location, close to shopping areas and the centre, and the starting point for your buses is near. Breakfast isn’t very good, consists only of pastries and instant coffee. The hotel kept cancelling my bookings because my card was blocking international transactions and I had to pay before checking in, which I found a bit weird considering I saw people paying for their stay after check out but I give them the benefit of the doubt. "It was a pleasant boutique hotel right in the heart of everything. I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty the decors were and also given free snacks, drinks, teas and coffees in the room for the entire stay, I stayed somewhere else and moved here during my stay due to ease of access. I also extended my stay as I loved the hotel. Great hotel If you are a tourist looking to walk everywhere and be at the heart of everything."

"This property is a gem. Just a minute walk from the metro in a quiet and safe business district. Many food choices and cafes. I especially like the space of the room. It is a fuss-free establishment, with good toiletries fitting. I would definitely recommend this establishment to practical, neat and fuss-free travellers! "

"There was no wifi. There was a broken door that kept banging all night long. Staff sent a notification 4 am about check out at 10 am. No blankets. The AC/Heater. The room was clean, especially the bathroom."

"Really great place to stay! It's walking distance from city center and close to metro, tram 28, Lidl and many restaurants. There is a common kitchen that was very useful and very helpful guys at the reception. During our trip in Portugal we changed 5 places and this one was the best!"
