"We loved the resort. It looked like it had recently remodeled. All the furniture and decor in the buffets and restaurants looked new. The food was amazing! The outdoor sunset bar area was huge and a great way to relax before air after dinner. So many options for drinks, ice cream, coffees! The room was clean and well appointed. It looked modern and fresh, guessing also a recent remodel. Not the biggest fan of the energy saving motion sensing lights in the bathroom. My daughter was in the tub and out of the range of the sensor so she was tasked with getting out in pitch black. Also, having the lights turn on full force when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is quite a wake up call. That being said, the lights were our only criticism of our visit to Grand Sirenis. There were plenty of shuttles to take you places on the resort if you want, but you can easily get your 10,000 steps (and then some) if you love to walk like we did. There are lots of steps, so I would be hesitant to bring my very much less mobile in-law; however, if you are savvy finding elevators and using the shuttle, I think we could find solutions. Lots of pools - quiet if you like quiet, energetic if you prefer that. Lots of seats around the pools and beach. We didn't visit the beach as much as planned because of the sargassum. I think it must be a losing effort at this point of the season so except for some pushing around, it wasn't really being removed except by the member beach club. "

The casita was stunning and very comfortable, very well maintained and the hosts took excellent care of us the entire time. The yard was so beautiful that we didn't really feel the need to head to the beach, but of course we did.The location is a little further from the beach but bikes are available at the casita for guest use and gof cart rentals are always an option. We were still very close to several restaraunts and very, very close to Yal Ku which is absolutely beautiful!I can't say enough about Que Onda, you really just need to experience it for yourself. We will definitely be back. The only thing I regret is that we didn't book a longer vacation!"

"La Sirena is a fabulous property situated in the perfect spot for those who love to swim and snorkel. The view to the ocean from our condo was magnificent and we enjoyed the soft breezes and sound of waves day and night! Our condo was roomy and comfortable and the staff on site were friendly and kept things pristine at all times. Francisca was of great help providing information, directions and suggestions regarding day trips and the local area. The pool and grounds are absolutely beautiful - the photos on the website don't lie! We enjoyed finishing each day with a swim before heading out to dinner at one of the local eateries. Thanks for a great vacation and we look forward to returning soon!"

"We loved the peaceful location of this complex, tucked near the end of the road. And the grounds and gardens were beautiful— full of tropical foliage and flowers. The swimming pool was lovely and clean, and we also appreciated the outdoor shower on the beach side of the building. The best part about the unit is the balcony! It was really nice to enjoy being there so much that we didn’t feel the need to ever leave, even though there were plenty of wonderful things within walking distance (shopping, restaurants, lagoon). The amenities provided, both in the unit and in the complex, were well thought out."
