「This is a wonderful studio apartment that is right on the bus line to Winchester and the train station in Chandler’s Ford. Bright, clean and recently renovated, it has a private entrance and is the perfect place for a visit to the area. The owner responded to all inquiries quickly, and thoughtfully provided a basket of snacks and bath essentials, as well as all the expected kitchen utensils. Booked expecting a fairly hassle free process to book only to be asked for a photo of my passport, bank card details, home address and more (ajority of which was NOT needed) Anyway arrived to find someone parked in my reserved space in what was essentially a public car park but not the end of the world, however once i stepped through the door thats where the problem came. 「The apartment itself was clean and tidy however the entry and stairs getting to the apartment were covered in old dirty and smelly carpet. The light in the bathroom did not work but was partially rectified by the delivery of a battery operated unit. Most significantly one of the main front windows was jammed open and the mechanism broken in such a way that the window could not be closed. This had obviously been this way for some time but the operator made it sound like he was just finding out...

「Arrive to meet host, showed around, clean tidy, perfect communication throughtout the stay. We did have a small issue through the stay and this was dealt with efficiently and promptly. We are looking to stay again in April we were that impressed. Tea and coffee were also provided and soap in the bathroom, this was an added bonus and very welcome. 」

「No ventilation, the apartment has no WINDOWS, accept for 2 roof lights which were too high to reach. The property was booked for 3 people, I rang and confirmed but regardless there was no linen or pillows for the 3rd person.」
