"I cannot say how awful this place was. We were ripped off so bad. Expedia charged us and then the owner Esa charged us as well and an extra $500USD that’s for a room with no electricity no WiFi terrible food it was so bad after two days we moved next door along with 6 others to Korovu “resort” and Arieta was so kind and helped us settle in and didn’t charge us as much because we were ripped off by her family next door. "Checked in to this apartment, and unfortunately, it has been a very terrible experience. 😤 The staff clearly lacked proper communication and professionalism. We were supposed to check out at 1:00 PM, as that was what we paid for, yet our luggage was placed outside at 10:00 AM without any proper explanation. What made it even worse was the poor communication. The person answering the phone was often different from the person we met, and no one seemed to know exactly what was going on. We...

Trans International Hotel

8/10 Good

"Rooms vary. Last night, 127 had really hot water in the shower compared to two different ones I experienced on recent visits. Generally clean but this morning I woke up bitten, so presuming bed bugs. Previous trip, the chair had a dangerously wobbly leg (reported on checkout) which could potentially tip you out when leaning back. Every stay I've had to return to reception to ask for a towel as housekeeping didn't complete their job. My stay is always overnight as it's closest and cheapest to the airport as I'm in transit to and from Tuvalu. Overall it suits me for the convenience."

Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"The resort was well equipped and perfectly suited to those looking to get away and do nothing but relax. The adults only area was staffed with attentive personnel and the main pool and restaurant area luxurious. Easily access from the resort to the marina for day tripping and shopping, but really there is no need to leave - it has it all."

Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay

10/10 Excellent

"The Marriott was fantastic. The rooms and property are a dream. My only criticism is that the buffet didn’t quite match the rest of the experience. It wasn’t bad; it simply wasn’t as exceptional as buffets I’ve had elsewhere. Even so, the Marriott is well worth the price. The nearby Hilton is a different story. Although it costs less, the experience was a top-to-bottom mess: a cockroach in the room, an air conditioner that was never fixed, lackluster service, the grounds are parched, and the breakfast buffet had very limited choices, mostly packaged foods and just one bottled salad dressing, salad had rotting vegetables, and nearly raw bacon. Win with Marriott"

Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji

8/10 Good

"The resort is a serene paradise, the staff were extremely friendly and the views were incredible everywhere. The reef wing (adults only) is worth the upgrade as some rooms are slightly dated. The amenities, views, and friendly staff make this resort. The massage was also incredible. The downsides were the communication, we had to ask three times for synthetic bedding as I am allergic to feathers. When we got a late check out the housekeepers out kept knocking to see if we were checking out. We also changed rooms and I accidentally left some belongings in the room and the housekeeper threw them out which was frustrating. Overall I would recommend to stay in the reef wing."
