"The host goes out of his way to make you feel at ease and answered questions we didn't even know we had. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance away and some amazing snorkelling and baby shark sightings out past that Maui jetty. Their garden is spectacular and all done by hand and Dee's brewed coffee is better than even Cafe Planet's up the road. 10/10 will try again . Thank you Ken and Dee :)"

"The best part of this resort, and we have been here over 10 times, is the staff; they make you feel like you are family. No other resort gives that feeling. From the ground staff to the office staff and everyone in between, they are what brings us back. On this trip, though, we found the drinks to be very dear and the food overpriced, except the Indian dishes, which are superb. For example, fish and chips are Aus $15.00. Hideaway $32.00 Pizza Aus $8.00; Hideaway $33.00, and so on. So again, I realise there are a lot of overheads in a resort this size; however, the food is very overpriced, as are the drinks. You pay $12.00 for a cocktail on a cruise. We love this resort; however, the prices are just too high. And the souvenir shop is on the same trend; prices up. The staff are our attraction, as I said, and the view is beautiful."

"We had a lovely stay at Geckos. The room was clean and food was good, and the massages were especially good. The staff were overall helpful. It is best to hire a car or be prepared for a few taxi trips as the resort is a bit isolated, and be aware that restaurant opening hours are limited. A walk to the nearest swimming beach is possible but not very easy."

"We stayed in a plunge pool room and the room and view are amazing, if you can, I'd recommend highly. The amenities are standard, nothing flashy which suited our needs. All the staff were top tier, couldn't say enough nice things about them. The problem does arise when it comes to food and beverage. The included breakfast is subpar (and I'm being polite). Was stuck having toast with jam all week. I attempted to order from the menu one morning and had the most disgusting looking french toast I've ever seen. Raw, not uncooked. Raw. To make it worse, they dumped the soupy egg mix on top of the bread and attempted to serve it too me. When I refused in an attempt to eat it and asked for it to be taken back, I witnessed the manager and waiter arguing over it. I don't know what was said, it made me uncomfortable."

"Perfect and special bure right on beach - Beachfront (Tula), with the sound of the sea and waves right outside your door. Bed mattress new, firm, excellent sleep. Outdoor open air shower unique and amazing, with gas-boosted instant hot water. Get a Vodafone eSim online a week before you go ($23 AUD for 50GB for 10 days), activates the day before you go, switch to it on arrival on the airport, get 4G 2/3 bars in your room at the resort as wi-fi only in the restaurant. Included Continental Breakfast good enough to start the day. Hire car needed, 2WD ok for the 1 km gravel road to resort, + easy to drive around Fiji as 50 km/h / 80 km/h everywhere, just watch out for the odd pothole. 2 hour drive from Nadi airport, stock up half way with beers and snacks at True Mart Yadua as cheapest and good selection. Friendly owner and staff always happy to help make your stay the best it can be, + friendly people everywhere you go in Fiji. Relaxing and chilled holiday, small and exclusive without the boutique or brand price."

"Our stay at Seascapes Holiday Home in Maui Bay on Viti Levu was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking ocean views and the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and truly experience the beauty of Fiji.Gavin, the owner, greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality, making us feel at home from the very beginning. On our first evening, he even invited us to dinner, where he shared stories about the local area, recommended places to visit, and offered helpful tips that made our week even more enjoyable. Throughout our stay, Gavin struck the perfect balance between being available and respecting our privacy. Although his personal unit is located just above the holiday home, you would never know it—the soundproofing is excellent, and the home feels completely private and tranquil.The house itself had everything we could have needed. Having access to a full kitchen allowed us to prepare meals, and the refrigerator and freezer made stocking up on groceries easy. We especially appreciated being able to do laundry before continuing our travels, as well as enjoying reliable hot showers every day. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, making the home comfortable for both short and extended stays.If you're looking for a peaceful escape with spectacular views, outstanding amenities, and a host who truly cares about his guests, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!"
