Well maintained, clean and comfortable with common kitchen. 15 min walk from airport but one stretch is completely unlit. Very difficult to find food in the neighborhood after 7pm. Good value, and I'd stay there again if I needed to be close to the airport.

Cheap stay for the night, clean room and facilities, property owner was on sight during the evening to guide me in. Didn’t need food so can’t comment about it. No lock in room as others have lost the keys too often for them to replace apparently. Was informed the front gates locked after 11pm so can’t do too much late at night. And wifi is weak needs an wifi extender. Routers at the back of the property Overall good for a layover flight close to the airport and all.

Walked front m property to and from the airport at night. Road full of pot holes and street lighting was poor but seemed safe enough. Nice big bed, no fridge or tv but I don’t asnt looking for that. Just one night stay close to airport to meet friend on arrival before going elsewhere next day.

The lodge is a walking distance from the airport. The staff at the check-in were friendly. Air-conditoner worked well. However, there was no hot water or shampoo in the bathroom. The garbage bin was not emptied from the previous guests. WiFi is available only on the terrace, not in the room. The restaurant was closed so no breakfast or coffee in the morning.

It was a fairly easy walk from the airport to Westfield in the evening, although I opted for a ride back ($10/Fiji) in the midday sun. Not very organized. Don't look for a check-in counter, but everyone is friendly and helpful. Food readily available, as you walk through the little open-air restaurant to get to your room. My room was small (expected), but everything worked fine, from the A/C to the shower (hot water). Overall cleanliness was maybe a 3/5. I'd probably stay again under similar circumstances (overnight layover or early flight).

Nothing Home-like in this Home stay

I arrived at the place at 10:00 P.M. The main door was locked. There was not buzzer or door bell. I tried calling the person which added $16:00 to my roaming bill. But the phone won't go through. I am stranded in the middle of nowhere (that's the location of the place) alone, with no help. Thanks to the kindness of the taxi driver whose call connected and a fellow came to open the door. He showed me the room and left. No drinking water, not even a soap in the washroom. Mercifully the room and bathroom was clean. In the morning I called for breakfast and was told that the cook was on leave so nothing is available. There is no restaurant or take out food place near the venue. By this time i was starving so I left the place as soon as I could. Once again, no cab available in the vicinity so hungry and thirsty, I walked for twenty odd minutes back to the airport. There was nothing home like in this homestay. It felt more of a punishment than a vacation.

Ok if you arrive late and leave early

Very noisy.family live there and don’t care about guests.the cook wouldn’t serve my meal at 6 as she had guests and I had to wait till 7. And the curry was dry and tasteles (pre-cooked and microwaved). Got woken at 5:30 by their kids and their car outside my room.
