Beachcomber Island is part of the Mamanuca island chain, just a short boat ride northwest of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu. Beachcomber Island is a perfect party oasis for the budget traveler. The resort crowd is generally young and the island gets very busy during peak season around June to October. Accommodation ranges from oceanfront bures (wood and straw hut) to dorms. Beachcomber Island is one of the easiest Fijian islands to access and is only a short ferry ride from Port Denarau.
