「Breakfast was great!」

「The breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about! The hotel was too expensive for an OK hotel! Probably will not stay there again!」

「The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, the room was amazing and the outdoor yard area was beautiful. This property made me rethink being a Hilton honors guy」

「We stayed there for 5 nights and every night seemed worse. At check in the lady was bothered that my husband and I and our 8 year old son would sleep in 1 bed with my daughter in the other bed. She claimed the room was too small for us and was rude when I said my son would sleep with us. The room she gave us was terrible. The AC was broken, which was fixed a day later BUT the AC then started to leak all over the floor. We used towels to keep soaking up the leak. This was our 3rd night in....

「Second time staying here. Best hotel in Sumter. Friendly staff, great location.」

「Helpful staff, peaceful atmosphere....nice remodel.」

「Staff was great. Location is fantastic with respect to proximity to dining options. My two greatest complaints are that the in-room wifi was absolutely horrible and the bed was NOISY!!!! I had to go out to McDonalds & Chick-Fil-A to get wifi that allowed me to work. Everytime I rolled over on the bed, I could hear the metal bedframe/springs squeaking & shifting.」

「Staff was great」

「They have roaches and then hair and stains on the bedding like it wasn’t washed」

「Clean and laid back」

「Mt. Vernon has been around for decades and it is not in the best condition these days. The price was helpful as I was in a crunch cash wise.」

「Loved the room and the Southern Hospitality」

「El hotel es horrible. Cucarachas por todos lados, toallas sucias y viejas. Baños horribles. No hay jabón. Etc」

「great hotel! clean and I felt safe. QT next door proved a bit noisy but with the AC fan running I couldn't hear it. Would definitely stay again if in the area」
