"The English Inn has been my "go to" place when I am in Charlottesville. it is clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff are pleasant and helpful. My one concern is the shower. Evidently, after showering and opening the doors, the water will go onto the floor instead of staying in the shower. One can see the water lines in the bathroom tiles that are close to the shower. I try to avoid this, but without success. The English Inn is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay and I hate to see the property be damaged in any way. Hopefully, this is an easy fix."

"The property was a little run down. For the price, it was a great place to stay. The room was clean and neat. The bed was not the most comfortable but wasn't too bad. For a one night stay it was good for us."
